We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Senior Preconstruction Manager for Commercial MEP Construction. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, responsible for overseeing the preconstruction phase of various commercial projects, including healthcare facilities, hospitals, schools, universities, multifamily homes, and libraries. This dynamic role requires a strong understanding of procurement and preconstruction processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Preconstruction Manager, your primary responsibilities will include: MEP experience is required, as well as Procurement experience.

1. Overseeing the preconstruction phase of various commercial projects, ensuring all work aligns with the project's overall goals and objectives.
2. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop comprehensive plans and schedules.
3. Evaluating potential risks and devising mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
4. Managing the procurement process, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the delivery of goods and services.
5. Providing accurate and timely cost estimates and budget projections.
6. Coordinating with project managers and construction teams to ensure a smooth transition from the preconstruction phase to the construction phase.
7. Maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
8. Ensuring all projects comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
9. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications: MEP experience is required, as well as Procurement experience.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Preconstruction Manager position will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in preconstruction management, preferably in the commercial construction industry.
2. Proven experience managing commercial projects, such as healthcare facilities, hospitals, schools, universities, multifamily homes, and libraries.
3. Strong understanding of procurement processes and strategies.
4. Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
6. Proficiency in construction software and technology.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
8. Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
9. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
10. Professional certifications, such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP), are a plus.
