Description

Reporting into senior leadership, the Senior Preconstruction Manager will lead both people and process across major pursuits and ongoing preconstruction activities.

• Own and lead the full preconstruction lifecycle from initial pursuit through contract award
• Direct Request for Proposal (RFP) strategy, submissions, and client presentations
• Oversee budgeting, estimating, and financial modeling for complex commercial projects
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks including cost exposures, schedule challenges, and procurement risks
• Manage drawings, specifications, and subcontractor engagement to ensure alignment and accuracy
• Lead, mentor, and develop estimators and preconstruction team members
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes

Profile

For the Senior Preconstruction Manager, we are seeking:

• Extensive experience in preconstruction, estimating, or commercial construction management
• Proven track record leading complex project pursuits and managing bid strategies
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in cost planning, budgeting, and risk analysis
• Experience managing and mentoring teams within a construction environment
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build relationships with clients and design partners
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel)
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

Job Offer
