Senior Price Cost Analyst

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Price Cost Analyst Level III to evaluate defense contractor proposals and support contracting officers in determining fair and reasonable prices. The analyst will review labor, material, overhead, and profit estimates; assess certified cost or pricing data; and compare proposed prices with historical prices, market rates, and published lists.

Responsibilities

• Review proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
• Develop and validate cost models, pricing templates, and estimating tools using historical data, parametric models, and cost estimating relationships.
• Identify high risk cost elements and obtain supporting data from contractors and government agencies.
• Evaluate forward pricing rates, indirect rate structures, and labor structures.
• Prepare documentation to support negotiations and communicate findings to government leaders and defense contractors.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility.
• At least 10 years of relevant DoD experience, including hands-on contracts and subcontracts work.
• At least four years of SAP or SCI experience, including work in such an environment within the past five years.
• In-depth knowledge of FAR, DFARS, AFFARS, and CAS, plus experience working with DCAA and DCMA.
• Strong cost accounting, financial analysis, data analysis, and reporting skills.
• Master’s degree; relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Willingness to undergo a government counterintelligence scope polygraph, if required.
