Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement pricing strategies in collaboration with sales, finance, and operations teams to maximize profitability.
2. Conduct complex deal desk analysis to evaluate pricing decisions and approve or reject deals based on set criteria.
3. Utilize calculator and other mathematical tools for accurate pricing calculations and financial analysis.
4. Drive process improvements in pricing strategies and financial analysis, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Work closely with the sales team to understand market trends and customer requirements, and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
6. Conduct margin analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and profit maximization.
7. Use advanced Excel skills to create and manage large datasets for pricing analysis.
8. Utilize SQL and Power BI for data management and visualization to aid in pricing decisions and strategy development.
9. Regularly review and update pricing models to ensure they remain competitive and profitable.
10. Collaborate with various teams to ensure pricing strategies align with organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pricing Analyst or similar role in the Engineering industry.
2. Proficient in deal desk analysis, implementation, and calculator usage.
3. Proven experience in driving process improvements.
4. Strong knowledge of sales, finance, and operations in the Engineering industry.
5. Excellent skills in margin analysis and financial data interpretation.
6. Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
