Senior Pricing and Contract Analyst

Client Overview:
Our client is a global pharmaceutical company specializing in high-quality, affordable generic medications. The organization has a strong U.S. commercial presence and extensive experience serving pharmaceutical customers worldwide. Our client is seeking a Senior Pricing and Contract Analyst to support customer pricing, contracting, and account management activities.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$80k - $90k

Position Overview:
The Senior Pricing and Contract Analyst will join the commercial team and support customer pricing, contracting, and account management activities. The Senior Pricing and Contract Analyst will work closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Chargebacks, and external customers to ensure pricing and contract information is accurate and up to date.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Pricing and Contract Analyst with pharmaceutical industry experience who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities of the Senior Pricing and Contract Analyst:

• Manage customer pricing, contracts, amendments, rebates, incentives, and related commercial documentation.
• Support new customer setup, account maintenance, and product/pricing updates.
• Review pricing activity and investigate discrepancies or exceptions.
• Partner with wholesalers and internal teams to resolve pricing and membership issues.
• Analyze pricing, revenue, margin, and competitive market information.
• Assist Finance with gross-to-net analysis, deductions, accruals, and chargeback-related questions.
• Prepare reports and maintain pricing and customer data within internal systems.
• Support new product launches and significant pricing updates.
• Identify trends, errors, and potential compliance issues.
• Respond to pricing inquiries and help resolve complex customer issues.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Pricing and Contract Analyst:

• 2-4 years of experience within the generic pharmaceutical industry.
• At least 1 year of commercial pricing and/or contracting experience.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing large volumes of data and transactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Pricing and Contract Analyst:

• Experience with SAP and/or Vistex.
• Experience with pharmaceutical pricing, contracting, chargebacks, rebates, or gross-to-net processes.
• Experience working with pharmaceutical wholesalers or commercial customers.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
