Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in value engineering, strategy consulting, investment banking or F500 pre-sales in cloud computing or technology.
• Experience working with cloud technologies focused on AI and data solutions or competitor cloud data platforms.
• Experience managing and influencing business executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience creating data strategy and partnering with Chief Data Officers with a deep understanding of their priorities.
• Advanced knowledge of value selling methodology and processes, opportunities, value chain, and value realization across cloud technology.
• Deep understanding of cloud sales and services, and a passion for data and AI.
• Ability to operate efficiently and effectively with enthusiasm and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly-evolving team environment.
• Ability to work with customers to deliver true business value and financial business cases for GCP products and platforms in their language.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and formal presentation communication and facilitation skills.

About the job

As a Senior Data Cloud Value Creation Principal, you will be responsible for developing and driving the value selling methodology for Google's Agentic Data Cloud products. You will collaborate with and influence global sales and product teams on using these strategies to accelerate Google Solution adoption. This role combines foundational Data and AI understanding, enterprise selling experience, and the ability to translate products into near and long-term business impact for the customer.

Success in this role means increased GCP bookings and revenue across strategic product areas, and accelerated strategic partnerships. We're looking for someone who can influence senior internal and external stakeholders, and someone who can articulate GCP's differentiators with credibility. As the technology landscape continues to evolve, you will need to artfully navigate change and ambiguity, test new ideas, and pivot when necessary.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $174000 - $252000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Develop methodologies and compelling value propositions that demonstrate the tangible impact of GCP data products.
• Create scalable, value-centric assets, agentic tools, and business cases (including TCO analyses) for sales plays.
• Leverage Google, customer, and third-party data, frameworks, and models to accelerate customer investment decisions.
• Brief Cloud sales and engineering leadership on emerging data trends and customer patterns based on value engagements.
• Share best practices and drive the broad-based adoption of value-selling insights across the Cloud sales organization.
