Senior Principal Oracle Health Millennium Support & Migration Engineer

Seeking Team Lead with proven experience in Oracle Health Millennium Support and Migration Engineering. This role is responsible for leading production support activities, resolving application and infrastructure issues, ensuring operational stability, and supporting Oracle Health Millennium migration and modernization programs to enhance system performance and scalability.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $103,000 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle''s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead L2/L3 support for Oracle Health Millennium applications and infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and operational stability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, service requests, and system issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Support application upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
  • Participate in Millennium migration, transformation, and cloud adoption projects.
  • Support application, data, and infrastructure migration activities, including cutover and post-migration stabilization.
  • Support and troubleshoot integrations using HL7, FHIR APIs, C-CDA, and SMART on FHIR.
  • Work with interface teams to resolve interoperability issues.
  • Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, and NetScaler/Citrix ADC environments.
  • Manage certificates, authentication services, and secure access solutions.
  • Monitor system capacity, performance, and availability.
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, and project teams.
  • Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
  • Maintain technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer as required.

Required Qualifications

Oracle Health Millennium

  • 8 to 12+ years of Oracle Health Millennium support experience.
  • Good understanding of Millennium architecture and healthcare workflows.
  • Experience leading & supporting production healthcare applications.

Technical Skills

  • Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, NetScaler/Citrix ADC, SQL fundamentals, PowerShell scripting, DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, and networking fundamentals.

Healthcare Interoperability

  • HL7, FHIR, C-CDA, SMART on FHIR, healthcare data exchange concepts, and clinical workflow understanding.

Support Experience

  • Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Production Support, and Root Cause Analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Health Millennium migration experience.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience.
  • Healthcare SaaS migration experience.
