• Accelerated leadership trajectory: This role is designed for someone ready to make the transition from leading workstreams to leading engagements, from supporting client relationships to owning them, and from contributing to a consulting practice to helping build one.

• Tech & AI innovation: Alongside our partners (including AWS, Microsoft, Anthropic, and others), we use AI both as a client value-creation lever and within our own delivery model. We care less about AI strategy decks than about applications, workflows, and operating changes that actually get deployed.
• International exposure, focused travel: With our team and clients spread across Germany, the US, Ghana, and Rwanda (with additional locations in planning), your work will be truly global from day one and include regular travel opportunities. Unlike traditional consulting setups, our travel is focused and periodic - you are not expected to be on-site with clients on a weekly basis.

About The Role

We are building a technology consulting practice focused on private-equity-backed companies and technology-enabled value creation. Founded in 2026 by our CEO and COO - both former BCG consultants - the practice is growing rapidly. You will join at a stage where the operating model, methodologies, team structure, propositions, and client portfolio are still being built, giving you the opportunity to help shape them alongside us.

Typical engagements in this practice include:

• Identifying and prioritizing tech-enabled value creation levers for portfolio companies
• Building data platforms and AI-driven analytics capabilities
• Delivering KPI dashboards and reporting for senior management and investors
• Developing AI-enabled applications and automation
• Overseeing large transformation programs (e.g., ERP migrations)

You will combine the strategic outlook of a trusted advisor to senior executives and investors with the hands-on discipline of owning technical implementation and delivery oversight - a role that shapes a client''s digital agenda from the boardroom to the build.

Building this practice also means growing it from within, developing ambitious young tech professionals from our locations in Ghana and Rwanda into capable consultants and future leaders of our consulting practice. Every engagement we deliver contributes directly to building globally competitive tech ecosystems and career opportunities in our African locations.

What You''ll Own

You are not expected to have done all of this independently before. We expect you to grow into this level of responsibility quickly, initially with close support from our CEO and COO.

• Client relationships: You will quickly grow into primary ownership of selected client relationships, initially working closely alongside our CEO and COO.
• Engagement leadership: You will run engagements end to end, including scope, timeline, budget, and risk.
• Escalations: You will manage escalations directly, including situations where a vendor or workstream is underperforming.
• Commercial ownership: You will help turn successful delivery into lasting client relationships - identifying follow-on opportunities, shaping proposals and scopes, and protecting engagement economics.
• Practice development: You will help build the technology consulting practice itself, including developing junior and mid-level consultants from our Ghana and Rwanda hubs into future members of the practice.
• Technical translation: You will translate business requirements into scoped, deliverable work for our engineering teams, and translate technical constraints back into terms clients can act on.
• AI-forward delivery: You will help clients identify where AI and automation genuinely create value, then ensure our delivery teams build toward it.
• Team leadership: You will lead cross-functional delivery teams - including engineers, business analysts, and data specialists - based in our African delivery centres.

What We''re Looking For

The common denominator we are looking for is not a particular employer or technology stack: you have combined structured problem-solving with real technology delivery and are ready to grow from leading major workstreams into owning engagements and client relationships.

• 3-7 years of relevant experience, although trajectory matters more to us than years served. Typically, you will have built your foundation in:

• Technology consulting

• Digital transformation

• Technology-enabled delivery

• IT program management / ERP transformation

• Or adjacent fields

• Demonstrated project management rigour, including experience running structured PMO processes on complex, multi-workstream engagements.

• A demonstrated bias for ownership: comfort taking on ambiguous problems and running toward them rather than waiting for a framework or someone else''s sign-off.

• Genuine appetite for delivery, not only advisory work: you want to be there at go-live, not just at the recommendation stage.

• Comfort translating between business and technical stakeholders: you do not need to be an engineer, but you need to have sat close enough to technical delivery to speak the language credibly.

• Stakeholder management: evidence that you can independently manage senior client stakeholders, with the judgment and presence to grow into primary ownership of C-level relationships.

• Evidence of commercial instinct: you understand that good delivery must also create client value and sustainable engagement economics, and can spot opportunities, manage scope, and contribute to shaping follow-on work.

• A passion for team development and intercultural teaming: you are excited to work with international delivery teams and to develop talented colleagues from Ghana and Rwanda into strong consultants and future practice leaders.

Strong plusses (not all required):

• Prior exposure to private equity portfolio companies: value creation planning, 100-day plans, due diligence, or investor/deal-team reporting.
• Experience on an ERP or major enterprise systems of record implementation
• German language fluency, given our client base.
• Experience directing distributed or offshore/nearshore delivery teams.
• Exposure to applied AI or automation initiatives inside enterprise settings.

Location & Travel

• Hybrid, based in Germany or the US.
• Regular presence at one of our office locations (Cologne, Germany, or Houston, US)
• Occasional travel to client sites.
• Occasional travel to your teams in Ghana and Rwanda.
