PRIMARY PURPOSE: Leading process innovation, improvement, technician coaching and capability growth, Heavily involved in NPI and continuously improve production processes including machining. NPI Develop and implement new processes or major changes to existing processes. Create and maintain documentation, Troubleshoot and mass production support.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. NPI support such as feasibility study, DFM, C/T quotation, tooling study and preparation: DFM,
2. Support documentation for production such as PFC/WI/FMEA and on line issue handling support on connector and cable assembly parts PFC, WI PFMEA,
3. Leading and support cable assembly line problem solving
4. Train and support process technician for process improvement
5. Maximize productivity and continuously improvement for manufacturing processes.
6. As a first decision maker for automation machine make/buy with DMF/economic thinking,
7. Support production teams in meeting efficiency, quality and delivery requirements
8. Be member of QSA and EHS system internal and outside audit and continuously improvement EHS
9. Willing to take accountability and result driven. Good team work spirit.

SCOPE: Work to improve and optimize assigned processes (major is assembly). Also expected the development of new processes and major changes to existing processes. Expected to independently specify & research significant capital expenditures. Responsible for yield and throughput on assigned processes.
EDUCATION: REQUIRED: BS in an engineering discipline PREFERRED: MS in an engineering discipline most applicable to the processes assigned
WORK EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: 5 years engineering experience (assembly process engineer), 5 PREFERRED: 10 years minimum experience in the similar processes (if know some knowledge of machining will be plus), 10,
