Job Title: Senior Process Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL (Remote)

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with strong experience in manufacturing process development, process optimization, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement to support manufacturing operations and drive process excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical and sustaining engineering support to manufacturing operations.
Lead the development, optimization, and transfer of manufacturing processes into production.
Recommend and implement equipment and process improvements to improve quality, production efficiency, and product yield.
Evaluate manufacturing feasibility, material selection, tooling, fixtures, and equipment requirements.
Support equipment selection, installation, integration, and process implementation activities.
Collaborate with Product Design and Development teams to ensure manufacturability and process compatibility.
Develop and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies and measurement systems.
Perform statistical analysis and data-driven process improvements.
Lead cross-functional projects involving manufacturing technologies, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing standards.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership as required.

Required Qualifications:
Strong experience in Manufacturing Process Development and Process Optimization.
Hands-on experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and statistical analysis.
Experience with equipment integration, selection, installation, and process implementation.
Experience with technology transfer and transitioning manufacturing processes into production.
Strong background in continuous improvement and data-driven process improvement.
Experience managing cross-functional engineering or manufacturing projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.
Experience with Process Validation and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
Strong Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving experience.
Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
Experience with Equipment Qualification.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality systems.
Experience in manufacturing environments involving new process development, optimization, and production support.
