QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of process engineering experience in biofuels, biochemicals, ethanol, biodiesel, SAF, biogas, chemical processing, or oil & gas
  • Expertise with Aspen, HYSYS, CHEMCAD, PRO/II, or similar process simulation software
  • Solid knowledge of API, ASME, ASTM, OSHA, NFPA, and process safety principles
  • Experience with heat exchanger design, hydraulic calculations, instrumentation, and control valve sizing
  • PE license preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop process simulations, PFDs, and P&IDs
  • Perform heat & material balances and hydraulic calculations
  • Size and specify pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, tanks, valves, and instrumentation
  • Create equipment specifications and support 3D model reviews
  • Design process control strategies and provide startup/commissioning support
  • Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives

Salary Range: $110,000–$135,000 annually. Compensation is negotiable and commensurate with experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.
