Title: Sr. Process Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh PA.
Duration: 6+ month contract
Rate: $45/hr - $55/hr W2 Max DOE
Project:
Senior-level Process Engineer with the ability to work independently and lead mechanical assembly activities on the night shift. Experienced in assembling large mechanical systems and ensuring production-line assemblies are completed accurately and in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.*
Reading and interpreting mechanical prints, drawings, CAD files, and assembly documentation to ensure final pack-line assemblies are completed correctly.
Applying strong mechanical intuition to troubleshoot large mechanical systems, automated equipment, downtime events, and recurring production issues.
Tracking metrics such as OEE, yield, cycle time, and downtime to identify bottlenecks and drive data-based process improvements.
Improving process flow, assembly methods, operator ergonomics, equipment reliability, and overall production efficiency through continuous-improvement initiatives.
Documenting overnight issues and communicating clear handoffs to day-shift engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Applying industrial and mechanical design principles while reviewing CAD designs and communicating actionable design feedback to engineering and system design teams.
AutoCAD experience is a plus.
