Position: Sr. Process Engineer / Project Engineer (Process)
\nLocation: Waukegan, IL 60087 onsite
\nDuration: 24+ Months
\nI am looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join my Sterling Engineering team. This is a hands-on role supporting API/drug substance process equipment from design and specification through procurement, installation, commissioning, and startup.
\nQualifications Required
\n- \n
- 10+ years of Process Engineering / Project Engineering experience with Reactors, vessels, tanks, mixers, pumps, filtration, and heat exchangers
- \n
- Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, datasheets, and URS documents
- \n
- Conduct Vendor design reviews and FAT/SAT
- \n
- Equipment installation, field support, commissioning, and startup
- \n
- Pharmaceutical, biotech, API, drug substance, or specialty chemical manufacturing
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline required.
