    Job Description

    Mission

Own the reliability of our manufacturing process by elevating people, process, and equipment. As the Senior Process & Machine Operations Coordinator, you orchestrate safe operations, develop associates, and protect quality while continuously improving how work gets done.

    Picture This

A process station flags a fault in the middle of a critical run. You step in, quickly isolate the issue, clear the alarm, and restart the machine. While the line stabilizes, you coach an associate on preventive maintenance, confirm scrap counts are recorded for the event, and ensure any required rework will be closed before shift end. You escalate a potential quality deviation to the Team Leader/Production Manager without delay—then capture a lesson learned to feed into our next improvement sprint.

    How You’ll Contribute

    • Coordinate and support associates who maintain and operate equipment across all process stations.
    • Deliver practical training for preventive maintenance and safe machine operation; model best practices on the floor.
    • Set up machines for production runs, verifying readiness against safety and quality criteria.
    • Respond rapidly to equipment faults; clear issues and perform timely restarts to reduce downtime.
    • Maintain daily discipline around scrap: precise recording, correct disposal, and visibility.
    • Ensure end-of-day rework is completed and documented.
    • Lead, motivate, and step into operating roles as needed to keep throughput on target.
    • Communicate any and all quality concerns immediately to the Team Leader or Production Manager.
    • Advance continuous improvement through ideas, experimentation, and standard work updates.

    Capabilities That Set You Apart

    • GD&T fluency for interpreting and validating part and process requirements.
    • Sharp troubleshooting across mechanical and control systems.
    • Tape measure accuracy and hands-on precision metrology skills.
    • Spindle maintenance/repair experience to preserve machine health.
    • Proficiency in machine setups for smooth production changeovers.
    • Solid manual machining abilities and comfort across multiple stations.

    Outcome

Safety upheld. Quality protected. Downtime minimized. Team capability rising. That’s the standard you set and sustain.
