We are currently seeking a full-time engineer to take on a month-long project (with the opportunity for extension) at a pump supplier in the Northern Las Vegas, NV area. This is an on-site position with the need to travel (expenses paid) to both Texas and Germany (passport required).
Key Responsiblities
- Work with technicians on the manufacturing floor monitoring manufacturing process
- Identify deviations from recorded process
- Gather objective evidence to support active action items, status, and assist in documenting closure
- Communicate and build professional rapport with the Supplier and Client teammates
Required Qualifications:
- Soft skills and patience
- Able to effectively run meetings and great documentation skills
- Ability to understand manufacturing processes and read standard operation procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to communicate with operators and management in person and remotely effectively
- Mechanical / process engineering knowledge
- Up to date passport
$70 - $80 an hour
Mileage reimbursement at the US gov't rate ($0.78 per mile driven). Untaxed.
