Job Description

Lead Procurement Manager

Lead procurement operations to ensure material availability, supplier performance, and uninterrupted production. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of buyers while driving KPI performance and accountability. Oversee purchasing activities, inventory management, shortage resolution, and supplier negotiations. Build strong supplier partnerships, drive cost savings initiatives, and mitigate supply chain risks. Partner with operations, planning, and engineering teams to support business objectives and continuous improvement. Utilize ERP/MRP systems to improve visibility, efficiency, and overall procurement performance. Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business goals, customer requirements, and market conditions. Monitor supplier capacity, lead times, and risk factors to proactively address potential supply chain disruptions. Drive process improvements and best practices across procurement, inventory management, and supplier management functions.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. They will have 8+ years of procurement experience within a manufacturing environment. Leadership experience managing procurement or purchasing teams is required. Strong ERP/MRP systems experience is necessary. Proven supplier negotiation and relationship management expertise is essential. Experience operating within regulated manufacturing environments is required. The candidate must be able to thrive in both strategic planning and hands-on operational execution. US Person status is required due to regulatory requirements associated with the role.
