Debbie’s Staffing is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer for our Client in High Point, NC!
Pay Rate: $27/hour (depends on experience)
Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Job Summary:Needs to be experienced and motivated to oversee all purchasing and contracting activities. This leadership position is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing procurement and contract functions to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all procurement and contract activities for agency projects.
Plan, organize, and coordinate procurement functions to meet agency needs.
Ensure purchasing activities comply with applicable procurement policies, regulations, and guidelines.
Supervise and provide leadership to the Procurement Officer and Purchasing Agent.
Manage vendor relationships and oversee the solicitation, evaluation, and award of contracts.
Monitor procurement processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Collaborate with internal departments to support purchasing and contracting requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field required.
Minimum of five (5) years of procurement experience.
Minimum of two (2) years of management experience.
Previous supervisory experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of public procurement laws, regulations, and contracting procedures is preferred.
