If so, Conax is looking for a Senior Product Design Engineer to join our team!Lead the design and development of new products, from concept through to final production.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including industrial designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure product feasibility and performance.Create detailed design specifications, including materials, processes, and manufacturing techniques.Utilize CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Rhino) to create 3D models, prototypes, and technical drawings.Conduct product testing, analysis, and validation to ensure designs meet quality standards, safety regulations, and performance benchmarks.Optimize product designs for cost, manufacturability, and environmental sustainability.Lead design reviews and provide mentorship to junior design engineers.Ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables, managing multiple projects concurrently.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial).Minimum of 4+ years experience in manufacturing environment.Proficient using Office365 applications, such as Outlook, Word, Excel.Training and demonstrated competency with APQP tools (i.e. D/PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP) preferred.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
