KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) - B2B Fintech / AI-Decision Systems

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) to design intuitive, trustworthy, and highly structured experiences for an AI-native fintech platform focused on investment decision-making, risk interpretation, and human-AI collaboration.

We are looking for a full-time position Product Designer (UI/UX) to design intuitive, structured, and trustworthy experiences for a system that combines AI interaction with financial decision-making.

This role focuses on UI/UX execution and interaction design, working closely with product and engineering teams to deliver clear and usable experiences.

The platform combines structured workflows, AI-generated insights, multi-agent interaction systems, and financial decision-support tooling. The goal is to help users understand complex information, interpret risk appropriately, and make informed decisions with confidence.

A key challenge in this role is ensuring users correctly understand uncertainty, probabilistic outcomes, confidence levels, and AI-generated outputs without over-trusting the system or misinterpreting risk.

Strong attention to clarity, trust, readability, information hierarchy, and structured interaction patterns will be important for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end UI/UX experiences for AI-native fintech and investment decision-support workflows
  • Translate complex outputs (strategies, risk signals, AI-generated insights, probabilistic outcomes, and scenario analysis) into clear, structured interfaces
  • Design interaction patterns for:
    • Managing and understanding multiple AI agents
    • Reviewing AI-generated insights and scenarios
    • Navigating investment decision workflows
    • Structured workflows combined with AI-assisted interaction
  • Ensure users can:
    • Understand what the system is doing
    • Interpret uncertainty and risk appropriately
    • Understand trade-offs across scenarios
    • Make informed decisions without over-trusting AI outputs
  • Design clear and discoverable entry points for AI features (users should not need to guess where or how to use AI)
  • Present:
    • Expected returns as ranges and probability-based outcomes rather than simplistic point estimates
    • Risk, uncertainty, and confidence levels clearly
    • Trade-offs across multiple scenarios and strategies
  • Maintain and evolve a design system that prioritizes:
    • Simple and easy to use
    • Structurally clear
    • Visually modern without unnecessary complexity
    • Readable and consistent across workflows
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and quant/data teams
  • Design interfaces that simplify complex financial workflows into intuitive user experiences
  • Help ensure users do not over-trust AI outputs or misinterpret probabilistic outcomes

What You'll Work On

  • Designing a human-AI collaborative decision system, not just UI screens
  • Multi-agent interaction patterns (structured + AI, not chat-only)
  • Interfaces for decision-making under uncertainty
  • Simplifying complex financial workflows into intuitive user journeys
  • Structured interaction systems designed to help users understand complex financial concepts clearly

What Success Looks Like

First 3 Months

  • Develop a strong understanding of the platform's current investment workflows, AI interaction patterns, and user experience gaps
  • Identify key opportunities to improve clarity, usability, trust, and workflow structure across core investment experiences
  • Align with product, engineering, quant, and AI teams on product priorities, design direction, and workflow improvements
  • Begin improving high-priority decision-support, portfolio, strategy, and AI-assisted interaction flows
  • Establish scalable design patterns and interaction approaches for structured AI-assisted workflows

6 Months

  • Ship meaningful improvements across investment workflows, AI-assisted interaction patterns, and financial decision-support experiences
  • Improve usability, readability, workflow clarity, and user trust across key product areas
  • Strengthen design consistency and interaction quality across the platform
  • Improve onboarding, activation, and engagement through stronger workflow usability and product clarity
  • Establish repeatable design systems and scalable interaction patterns for future product expansion

12 Months

  • The platform delivers a more polished, trustworthy, and intuitive fintech product experience
  • Users can more clearly understand risk, uncertainty, strategy trade-offs, and AI-generated outputs
  • Professional and sophisticated investors can navigate workflows with greater confidence and clarity
  • The product has stronger interaction consistency, workflow usability, and scalable AI-assisted design foundations
  • The platform is better positioned for long-term expansion across professional and broader investor audiences

Qualifications

  • Experience designing fintech products (trading, investing, or financial tools) required
  • Strong UX skills with a focus on clarity, hierarchy, usability, and structured workflows required
  • Ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive interfaces required
  • Experience designing for U.S.-based users and markets required
  • Strong visual design sense with emphasis on readability and structure
  • Experience designing workflow-oriented, data-heavy, or decision-support interfaces strongly preferred
  • Experience collaborating closely with product and engineering teams preferred
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, evolving product environment preferred
  • Portfolio required with submissions

Preferred

  • Experience designing AI-powered or AI-assisted products
  • Familiarity with:
    • Hybrid AI interaction patterns (structured UI + AI)
    • Data-heavy or decision-support interfaces
    • Multi-agent interaction systems
  • Understanding of how to present:
    • Risk
    • Uncertainty
    • Scenario-based outcomes
    • Trade-offs across scenarios
    • Confidence levels and probabilistic outputs
  • Experience designing for professional investors, traders, analysts, or sophisticated financial users preferred
  • Familiarity with regulated or compliance-sensitive financial environments
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred, as the role involves cross-regional collaboration with product, engineering, and data teams

Working Style

  • Prioritizes simplicity over feature complexity
  • Focuses on user understanding over visual novelty
  • Comfortable working with evolving product definitions
  • Able to iterate quickly and refine based on real usage
  • Comfortable designing products where clarity and trust are critical to the user experience

Not a Fit If

  • You prefer visually complex or dashboard-heavy designs
  • You rely primarily on chat-based interfaces for AI products
  • You focus on aesthetics over user comprehension
  • You are not comfortable designing for decision-making scenarios
  • You are not comfortable presenting risk, uncertainty, and trade-offs clearly to users

Additional Notes

  • This is a UX-heavy role, not just visual design
  • The target users include professional investors today, with a long-term goal of broader accessibility
  • A key challenge is ensuring users do not misinterpret risk or over-trust AI outputs
  • The goal is not to expose system complexity, but to make a complex system feel simple and understandable

Compensation

  • Base salary range: $160,000 - $220,000 USD annually, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, skills, and location

Benefits

Health insurance, paid time off, and other standard benefits
