The Product Development Engineer, Voice Services is responsible for the technical design and validation of service products throughout their life cycle, working closely with Product Managers to enhance service solutions and improve customer experience.Responsibilities:• Participate in Services Product Development process as defined by the product roadmap• Proactively evaluate current services product portfolio for improvement• Provide technical assistance as required for end-of-life service transition planning• Perform market research to understand market requirements and trends• Evaluate partner solutions to identify opportunity to develop and enhance management and support solutions• Identify and evaluate potential delivery partners to augment or expand AVI-SPL service portfolio scope and/or geographic reach• Partner with Service Readiness teams to conduct pre-release testing and development technical support and delivery specifications• Deliver product specifications, design guidance and pre-sales support materials to presales and technical service delivery staff for new products or technical product features• Analyzing existing products to identify areas for improvement• Assist Product Managers in the development and maintenance of the technical aspects of product documentation• Recommend and assist in the development of improved product documentation for presales, sales, and service delivery organizations for distribution for distribution both internally and to customers.Qualifications:Required:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field• 10+ years industry experience• Proven Voice & Collaboration service and solution design experience evidenced by past roles and/or industry certification• Strong communication and teamwork skills.• Excellent written and oral presentation skills• Possess a high degree of creativity and problem-solving skills.• Understanding of product development, product management and product operational activities and processesPreferred:Company:AVI-SPL is an IT company that provides AV/UC integrator and digital solutions.
