WDP serves a broad range of users—including advisors, asset managers, home office teams, and internal stakeholders—by delivering reliable, scalable, and insight-driven data products. The team partners closely with engineering, data, design, and business stakeholders and operates in a fast-moving environment where strong product ownership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

How You’ll Contribute

Envestnet is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Wealth Data Platform to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of product capabilities within WDP. This is an individual contributor role responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing features within an assigned product area, working in close partnership with the Data Team to ensure high-quality, reliable data capabilities that serve user and business needs.

This individual will translate complex data and stakeholder requirements into clear, prioritized product decisions—balancing near-term delivery with longer-term platform improvements. The role requires strong product judgment, a data-fluent mindset, and the ability to work effectively across engineering, data science, design, and business teams.

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for an assigned WDP product area, aligned to platform objectives and user needs across relevant channels and stakeholder groups
  • Partner closely with the Data Team to maintain, enhance, and scale existing product capabilities, ensuring stability, data quality, and operational reliability
  • Engage with clients, internal stakeholders, and end users to understand workflows, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to improve product effectiveness
  • Evaluate client, market, and usage data to identify emerging patterns, prioritize improvements, and recommend strategies for resolution
  • Translate complex data and business requirements into clear product specifications, acceptance criteria, and delivery-ready user stories
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and compliance to deliver scalable, compliant product capabilities
  • Define and own success metrics, using quantitative data and qualitative feedback to guide ongoing iteration and continuous improvement
  • Recommend and help implement product management process improvements within the Wealth Data Platform team

What You’ll Need to Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5–8+ years of product management experience, including delivery of complex, enterprise-grade software platforms
  • Proven ability to manage and enhance existing products, with strong ownership over backlog prioritization and feature delivery
  • Experience working closely with data or engineering teams on data-driven or platform products
  • Strong ability to translate user workflows and operational challenges into clear, actionable product requirements
  • Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation—with the ability to articulate strategy and value to executive, technical, and client audiences
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong execution discipline
  • Willingness to travel to engage with clients and internal stakeholders as needed

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in financial technology, wealth management, or regulated enterprise platforms
  • Familiarity with advisor-facing, asset manager, or home office workflows in a wealth management context
  • Experience with data products, analytics platforms, or BI/reporting tools in an enterprise context
  • Strong understanding of data quality, governance, and reliability as product concerns
  • Ability to balance incremental feature delivery with longer-term platform improvements
  • Strong product storytelling skills and a passion for driving adoption of new capabilities
