SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER

Thresh Consulting — Strategy in Action for the AI Era

Salary: $160,000 - $195,000 + up to 25% annual bonus

Location: New York City

ABOUT THRESH

Thresh Consulting is a modern digital consulting firm built for the AI era—where strategy, execution, and craft come together to deliver real outcomes with speed. Our specialty is helping organizations design, build, and scale digital products that create exceptional customer experiences and drive value.

At Thresh our senior product leaders connect executive-level strategic objectives to technical delivery. We own outcomes, manage cross-functional teams, and help client leaders navigate ambiguity with confidence. We value clarity over complexity, quality over shortcuts, and learning as a core part of growth.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Product Manager brings a unique combination of technical depth, business acumen, and client-facing presence. This role operates with significant autonomy, serving as the strategic connection to client leadership and leading a dedicated team of 2-3 Product Owners and/or Product Managers.

You think like a business owner. You understand how acquisition channels — search, display, paid media, and owned surfaces — shape the customer's first impression, and you know how to connect offers and marketing content to the end-to-end user journey in ways that drive measurable business outcomes. You don't just ship products; you move the business.

You are accountable for strategic vision, product roadmap, delivery execution, and business outcomes. And you’re excited at the opportunity to help shape Thresh’s rapidly growing Product Management practice.

Required Experience:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

PRODUCT OWNERSHIP & BUSINESS STRATEGY

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization frameworks with a clear line of sight to revenue, retention, and growth
  • Translate business strategy — including channel strategy, competitive positioning, and offer architecture — into sequenced, actionable product plans
  • Define KPIs and success metrics that reflect both product performance and business impact
  • Identify and champion customer opportunities using data, market signals, and direct client insight

CLIENT LEADERSHIP & EXECUTIVE PRESENCE

  • Serve as the senior product voice with client stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Lead strategic product reviews, roadmap presentations, and joint planning sessions with confidence and credibility
  • Build trusted relationships at the leadership level, translating complex tradeoffs into business-fluent narratives
  • Bring a consultative, commercially aware perspective — anticipating business needs, not just responding to them

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

  • Partner with senior business, design, engineering, and marketing leaders across a matrixed organization
  • Manage dependencies across multiple teams and workstreams, driving alignment through ambiguity
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for product outcomes

INBOUND TRAFFIC STRATEGY: MARKETING & OFFER PRESENTMENT

  • Partner with marketing, growth, and channel teams to align product strategy with inbound acquisition efforts — including search (SEO/SEM), display, and digital media
  • Shape how offers are presented across customer touchpoints to drive conversion, retention, and lifetime value
  • Build coordinated user journeys that connect channel entry points to product experiences in ways that are intentional and measurably effective
  • Bring working knowledge of cloud-based marketing platforms and how they enable personalization, campaign orchestration, and journey automation at scale

DELIVERY EXCELLENCE

  • Oversee backlog management and delivery workflows at scale
  • Guide teams through complex tradeoffs and prioritization decisions
  • Ensure launches are well-coordinated, well-measured, and tied to real business results

PRODUCT LEADERSHIP

  • Lead, mentor, and develop 2-3 Product Owners or Product Managers
  • Establish delivery standards, requirements quality expectations, and a culture of clear thinking and accountability
  • Provide structured coaching and regular feedback
  • Drive AI adoption and innovation at the pace of the market — and expect your team to do the same

WHO YOU ARE

You are, first and foremost, a Product Manager — not a project coordinator, not a requirements writer. You lead with business instinct, earn trust through strategic clarity, and bring the presence to stand in front of senior leaders and make the case for what matters and why. You understand the commercial mechanics of digital products, know how customers are acquired and retained, and build products that reflect that understanding at every layer.

WHAT YOU BRING

* 5 - 7+ years of product management experience

* Experience owning a product or major product vertical end-to-end

* Prior people leadership, coaching, or mentorship experience

* Strong strategic thinking paired with execution discipline

* Advanced Jira proficiency and systems-level thinking

* Excellent communication with executives and delivery teams

* Experience in TME, telecom, or subscription businesses is a plus

WHY THRESH

* Senior-level compensation with performance bonus

* Comprehensive healthcare benefits

* 401(k) with company matching

* High ownership and influence

* Opportunity to shape products, teams, and Thresh’s product practice

* A culture built on clarity, craft, and outcomes
