Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • 3 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in one or more of the following: compute architecture, data center infrastructure, CPU (x86/Arm) and I/O technologies, Cloud Infrastructure, Storage, understanding of the operational aspects of Cloud Servers.
  • Understanding of different workload requirements (emerging and existing) and their demands on the underlying infrastructure, familiarity with key Enterprise workloads such as MSSQL , SAP HANA.
  • Understanding of locally attached Storage systems (LSDD) and performance needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and harmonize processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures.
  • Build and scale new CPU based VMs to market under google compute engine, including deep-diving into one of the fastest growing VMs segments for Cloud to meet the needs of AI/ML and general purpose compute needs.
  • Drive the roadmap for CPU and Memory technologies, Guest OS support, network, storage, hypervisor and offloads.
  • Analyze competitive dynamics and industry trends on where the innovation is happening for both workloads and hardware.
  • Collaborate across hardware, software, research and product teams towards product goals and roadmap.
