Job Summary

The Senior Product Manager - Digital Health will drive innovation and success in our product portfolio, with a particular focus on digital health solutions. This role requires a blend of market analysis, customer insight, and product strategy to identify opportunities, guide development, and ensure successful commercialization of healthcare products, including software platforms, mobile applications, and connected medical devices.

The ideal candidate has expertise in the medical device industry and digital health technologies (cloud, app, and web-based) used in solutions such as patient mobile applications, telemedicine, remote patient monitoring, and/or device analytics.

They possess strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, coupled with a proven history in launching healthcare and digital health products, navigating regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA and GDPR, and managing cross-functional teams in agile environments.

Responsibilities

Market and Customer Insights

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs and industry trends, with an emphasis on digital health adoption and emerging technologies.
  • Monitor global competitive activity, analyzing product performance to assess strengths and weaknesses compared to Inogen''s portfolio.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders to gather insights and inform value proposition development (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test).

Strategic Product Management

  • Work with senior management to develop long-term vision and strategy for the digital health portfolio aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee integration of digital technologies such as cloud platforms, mobile apps, and data analytics to improve patient engagement and clinical outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in agile development cycles, ensuring timely delivery and regulatory compliance.

Ongoing Product Support

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Develop compelling product claims to strengthen market positioning.
  • Design and deliver product training for internal teams and external partners.
  • Monitor customer feedback and recommend product improvements.
  • Represent the voice of the customer in cross-functional initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strategic product management experience including roadmap development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Customer-centric mindset focused on patient engagement and user experience design.
  • Market research expertise using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Understanding of digital health ecosystems and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).
  • Experience with telehealth, remote monitoring, and digital therapeutics.

Inogen assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $126,000.00 and $157,000.00 annually. However, actual base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and will be based on non-discriminatory factors, including as to individual skills, education, experience and market location.
