Senior Product Manager

Location: Glendale, CA (Hybrid; onsite expectations to be confirmed)
Pay Rate: $83.89/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking an innovative Senior Product Manager with a passion for emerging technologies to help identify, develop, and deliver next-generation products and capabilities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate evolving technologies into practical business solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring concepts from ideation through execution.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing products in fast-paced environments, leading proof-of-concept initiatives, and working closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Innovation
  • Contribute to the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for emerging technology initiatives.
  • Research and evaluate industry trends and advancements to identify opportunities for innovation and business growth.
  • Assess the applicability of emerging technologies and validate their fit for organizational objectives.
  • Support strategic planning activities by defining product goals and priorities.
Product Lifecycle Management
  • Drive iterative product development processes from ideation through proof of concept (POC), prototype development, pilot execution, and initial production rollout.
  • Define and document user stories, business requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
  • Prioritize product backlogs and facilitate alignment between stakeholder expectations and delivery capabilities.
  • Support the continuous refinement of products through feedback loops and data-driven decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with engineering, design, delivery teams, and external stakeholders to execute product initiatives successfully.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across diverse teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, presentations, and supporting materials for stakeholder engagement.
Business Case Development
  • Identify and prioritize high-value use cases aligned with business goals.
  • Build business cases using quantitative and qualitative analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Evaluate opportunities based on feasibility, impact, and strategic value.
Metrics & Performance Measurement
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure product effectiveness.
  • Analyze data to evaluate outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and guide future decision-making.
  • Communicate product performance, insights, and recommendations to leadership teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology Management, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in product management, preferably within emerging technology environments.
  • Experience leading iterative development efforts, including proof-of-concept initiatives and production-ready solutions.
  • Familiarity working within research and development (R&D) or innovation-focused environments.
  • Proven ability to solve complex technical, business, and user experience challenges in fast-paced settings.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to develop business cases supported by data and metrics.
  • Experience working within Agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while driving initiatives through execution.
  • Experience collaborating with geographically dispersed and/or international teams across multiple time zones.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and effectively balance multiple initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with Agile and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), computer vision, robotics, spatial computing, extended reality (XR), and related disciplines.
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, or integrating AI technologies into products, workflows, or business processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify practical applications of emerging technologies that drive measurable business value.
