Built on a legacy of quality and innovation, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team and support our continued growth.

This role is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the hard side cooler category through end-to-end product lifecycle management. This role owns category strategy, product roadmap development, commercialization, and in-market performance, partnering cross-functionally to deliver innovative products that meet consumer needs and business objectives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Category Strategy & Business Performance

  • Develop and execute category growth strategies, including new product initiatives, line extensions, and portfolio optimization.
  • Support annual operating plans and long-range strategic planning, including volume, revenue, margin, and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer insights, POS data, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and business risks.
  • Track category and product performance metrics, providing recommendations to improve profitability and drive sustainable growth.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory planning processes.

Product Management & Commercialization

  • Own the product lifecycle from concept through launch and post-launch evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year product roadmap aligned with category strategy and business objectives.
  • Lead product launch execution, ensuring delivery against timelines, cost targets, margin goals, and quality standards.
  • Manage existing product lines, including SKU rationalization, product updates, and end-of-life planning.
  • Partner with Product Development, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing to bring new products and line extensions to market successfully.
  • Communicate project status, business performance, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.

Consumer & Market Insights

  • Lead consumer, market, and competitive research to identify unmet needs and inform product decisions.
  • Translate consumer insights into product requirements, positioning, and innovation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on packaging, branding, product claims, and go-to-market strategies.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Influence and align cross-functional teams to achieve category objectives and annual business targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning, decision-making, and commercialization processes.
  • Provide product expertise, training, and support to Sales, Marketing, and key internal stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:

  • 7-10+ years of product management, category management, brand management, or product marketing experience.
  • Experience owning a product portfolio and managing products through the full lifecycle-from consumer insights and concept development to launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Demonstrated success developing product roadmaps, launching new products, and driving category growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using POS, syndicated market data, consumer research, and financial analysis to drive decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in consumer products or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with hard side cooler brands/categories
  • Knowledge of hard side cooler construction, manufacturing processes

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Experience managing products from concept through commercialization and post-launch optimization, including roadmap development, portfolio management, and SKU rationalization.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams across Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and external partners to achieve business objectives.
  • Communication & Executive Presence: Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data, evaluate tradeoffs, and make sound business recommendations.
  • Execution & Results Orientation: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver against aggressive timelines, and achieve financial and operational goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability & Ownership: Highly self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable navigating ambiguity while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
