Senior Product Manager Product Strategy

A growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle of assigned product categories. This role will translate market insights into clear product strategies that drive growth and profitability while ensuring products are successfully developed, launched, and positioned in the market.

The Senior Product Manager will own product direction from concept through launch, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Sourcing, Operations, and Manufacturing. This individual will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, developing business cases, managing the product roadmap, and ensuring cross functional teams remain aligned throughout the product development process.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical and strategic while also being comfortable taking hands on ownership of execution. Experience working with physical products in a manufacturing environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead market research and analysis to identify product gaps, trends, and growth opportunities

• Develop product strategies and business cases based on customer needs, pricing, profitability, and manufacturability

• Own and maintain the product roadmap based on company priorities and market demand

• Lead product initiatives from initial concept through development and launch

• Coordinate cross functional teams to ensure products are developed and launched on schedule

• Partner with Sales and Marketing on product positioning, go to market strategy, and adoption

• Monitor product performance throughout the lifecycle and adjust strategies as needed

• Work closely with Sourcing, Operations, and Manufacturing to ensure product feasibility and successful execution

• Identify opportunities to improve existing products and expand product categories

• Communicate product strategy, priorities, and progress to key stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of product management, product development, or product marketing experience required

• Experience within a manufacturing or physical product environment required

• Proven experience leading products from concept through launch

• Strong market research, product prioritization, and roadmap management experience

• Experience developing and executing product strategies and business cases

• Strong experience partnering with Sales and Marketing on product positioning and go to market execution

• Experience working closely with Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Operations throughout the product lifecycle

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to balance high level strategy with hands on execution

• Experience in cabinetry, kitchen and bath, interiors, building materials, or related industries preferred

Salary: $150,000 to $200,000/year
