As a Product Manager (Technical), you will be responsible for defining new types of Echo devices. You will own defining and delivering Echo devices that allow customers to experience Alexa in new ways in their homes.

This role is inherently cross-functional -- you will work closely with engineering, design, operations, finance, and executive teams to bring features and products to market for our global customers.

A successful candidate will be a big thinker, strong owner, results oriented leader, and highly analytical. This candidate will be able to work extremely effectively in a cross-functional organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and experiences that customers love.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define, build, and launch next-generation of Echo devices
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Define use cases, requirements, and prioritization for Echo device capabilities. Work with partner teams to deliver new and creative Alexa experiences through devices
  • Learn and be curious about technology roadmap that can shape the future of devices
  • Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load
  • Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products
  • Drive product launches including working with marketing, PR, executives, and other product management team members

A day in the life

As a Sr. PMT, you"ll define the vision and business plan for a new Alexa venture, gaining support from customers, partners, and executives. You"ll work with design and engineering to create product requirements and user experiences. Collaborating with marketing, PR, and business development, you"ll strategize product launches and drive adoption. You"ll develop roadmaps with business development, solutions architecture, and finance to meet P&L goals.
