TimeHub team"s charter is to build a world-class product which meets time, attendance and pay computation needs for over 2 Million hourly associates across Amazon businesses. People Technology is the central hub for all Amazon people data. Our product and technology provides the foundation for a multitude of key human resource processes, from on-boarding of tens of thousands of temporary employees during peak holiday season, capturing time-related events across an associate"s day to day activities, to integrating critical employee data to internal and external systems. We implement and build highly secure, global software that allows Amazon to effectively manage the workforce, resulting in a better employee experience and a better bottom line.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own and manage the TimeHub product roadmap across multiple geographies, balancing business priorities with customer needs
  • Drive strategy and execution for key product areas, including pay calculation and time tracking systems
  • Partner with engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders to develop scalable, customer-centric solutions that serve millions of users
  • Analyze complex product requirements and translate them into clear, actionable plans that guide cross-functional teams
  • Leverage data analysis and customer feedback to inform product decisions, measure success, and drive continuous improvement

A day in the life

In this role, you"ll focus on the TimeHub product ecosystem, which serves as the foundation for time and attendance management across Amazon"s global operations. You"ll spend your time collaborating with engineering and design teams to translate complex business requirements into clear product strategies. You might start your day reviewing customer feedback and data insights to inform prioritization decisions, then move into a working session with operations stakeholders to understand how recent product changes are impacting their workflows. You"ll also present product progress and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, using data to support your recommendations. Throughout the week, you"ll partner across multiple geographies to ensure our solutions address diverse business needs while maintaining security and scalability. Beyond routine product management, you"ll occasionally dive deep into analyzing market trends or conducting customer discovery sessions to uncover new opportunities for the roadmap.

About the team

We are a collaborative group of product leaders, engineers, designers, and operations specialists dedicated to building secure, scalable solutions that power workforce management at Amazon"s scale. Our team spans multiple geographies and works closely with business stakeholders to understand the evolving needs of our associates and the organization. We"re focused on creating products that simplify complex processes-whether that"s onboarding thousands of temporary employees during peak season or ensuring accurate pay computation across diverse business models. As a Senior Product Manager, you"ll be instrumental in shaping our product vision and helping us deliver solutions that make a tangible difference in how Amazon manages and supports its workforce. We"re excited to work with someone who brings strategic thinking, customer empathy, and a commitment to operational excellence.

About the Company

A

Amazon.com Inc

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
