Senior Product Marketing Manager - GaN MMIC

The Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible fortechnical product marketing of MACOM's GaN-on SiC MMIC portfolio. This positionwill work with multiple functional groups such as the global sales team, designengineering, quality, etc. in an effort to grow revenue, be an advocate for thecustomer and be a subject matter expert for MACOM's technologies and products.This role will support on-site customer visits, drive new product definitionvia customer feedback and trends and enable sales team success via collateral,training and new products.

Responsibilities
• Ownershipof new product strategy and roadmap
• Translatenew customer requirements into recommendations for new product development
• Identifynew market needs and translate to specific product requirements withprioritized features and corresponding justification
• Understandproduct pricing strategies & develop new product business cases
• Ensurethe regional sales teams are current with the latest product collateral,training, road maps, and application value proposition
• Supportof on-site customer visits as RF subject matter expert
• Engageinternal support teams (applications, product development, reliability,quality, planning, etc) to build and sustain the product line and help inresolving
• Customertechnical or delivery issues as required
• Be anexpert on competitor's capabilities and product positioning in the market
• Executeon deliverables for distribution sales, including design registrations, ship& debits, as well as pricing
• Be aself-starter in the creation of product specific collateral and tools
• KeyCompetencies and Experience
• Strongunderstanding of semiconductor device technology and assembly
• Strongunderstanding of RF semiconductor testing, qualification and reliability
• Strongunderstanding of RF semiconductor applications
• Strongunderstanding of system level trades that influence GaN MMIC requirements
• Goodgeneral knowledge of both RF sales, RF markets and customer base
• Provenability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Strongverbal, written & presentation communications skills
• Willingnessto travel, including internationally as necessary
• Self-motivatedwith strong drive to achieve business objectives
• Abilityto blend the technical and commercial to deliver a balanced approach toproblems
• Stronganalytical skills and experience

Required Qualifications and Experience
• Master'sDegree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ yearsof experience in Engineering
• Extensiveexperience supporting customers, direct sales and distribution sales partners
• Extensiveexperience with new product launch and new business development

The Salary Range for this position is $122,000 - $192,000.Actual salary offered to candidates will depend on several factors, includingbut not limited to, work location, relevant candidates' experience, education,and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.

This position is eligible to receive restricted stockunit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM's discretion, subject toindividual and company performance.
