Ring and Blink help millions of customers feel safer at home through smart cameras, video doorbells, alarms, and AI-powered services that bring those devices to life. As subscriptions become a core part of how customers experience our products, we are growing the marketing team that defines and ships those experiences.

We are hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our subscriptions marketing team. You will help shape how customers discover, adopt, and stay engaged with Ring and Blink subscription services. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Creative, and our international teams to bring new features and services to market - and you will use artificial intelligence and machine learning, both as a marketing tool and as the substance of what we sell, to deliver experiences customers love.

This is a builder role. We are looking for a marketer who writes clear strategy, ships measurable programs, raises the bar on customer insight, and is excited to work in a category where the product is changing fast.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for subscription services, including new feature launches, AI-powered customer experiences, and ongoing engagement programs
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to translate product capabilities into clear customer benefits, and influence the product roadmap based on customer insights
  • Define audience strategy, messaging, and positioning for subscription marketing across owned channels
  • Lead experimentation programs end-to-end - design tests, set success criteria, partner with analytics on measurement, and scale what works
  • Use generative AI and machine-learning tools to accelerate marketing workflows, including insight generation, content drafting, audience analysis, and creative iteration
  • Bring marketing rigor to international markets, partnering with regional teams on localization, for their respective marketes, regulatory communications, and market-specific go-to-market plans
  • Author written narratives that report progress, surface customer insights, and recommend next investments
  • Partner with Creative, Legal, Finance, and Lifecycle Tech to ship programs across email, push, in-app, and other owned surfaces

A day in the life

A typical week includes leading a working session with Product on a feature launch, reviewing creative for an upcoming campaign, walking analytics through a measurement plan, briefing an international team on a localization plan, drafting a written narrative, prototyping copy or audience work using generative AI tools, seeking out and experimenting with existing and new generative AI tools, and bringing a recommendation to leadership on what to ship next.

About the team

The Ring and Blink Subscriptions Marketing team owns the marketing strategy and execution for our subscription services. We work backwards from the customer, we measure what we ship, and we partner closely with Product, Engineering, Science, and Analytics. We invest in mentorship and career growth, we set a high bar for written strategy, and we are building a team where artificial intelligence is part of how we work and what we deliver.

About the Company

A

Amazon.com Inc

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
