Senior Product Owner / Product Manager Automotive & Manufacturing

Location: Lisle, IL (Hybrid 4 Days Onsite per Week)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner / Product Manager with a strong background in the Automotive and Manufacturing industries to lead product strategy, roadmap planning, and Agile product delivery. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge business objectives with technology solutions while driving the successful delivery of innovative products.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing the entire product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, prioritizing product backlogs, and delivering business value using Agile methodologies. Hands-on experience with Azure Boards and Connected Vehicle/Product Development initiatives is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.
Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from concept through delivery and continuous improvement.
Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements into actionable product backlogs.
Define product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with business stakeholders.
Manage product backlogs, sprint planning, and release planning using Azure Boards.
Collaborate with engineering, UX, QA, architecture, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Prioritize features based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and organizational objectives.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Track product progress, delivery milestones, and release schedules while proactively managing risks and dependencies.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
Drive continuous product improvements through stakeholder feedback, analytics, and market insights.
Ensure successful product delivery while maintaining quality, scope, and timeline expectations.
Communicate product vision, priorities, and roadmap updates to executive leadership and project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
12+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product leadership role.
Strong experience within the Automotive and Manufacturing industries.
Proven success managing product roadmaps and delivering enterprise-scale products.
Extensive experience managing end-to-end product development lifecycles.
Hands-on experience with Azure Boards for:
- Product backlog management
- Sprint planning
- Release planning
- Work item tracking
- Product delivery management
Strong experience defining:
- Product vision
- Product strategy
- User stories
- Acceptance criteria
Experience working closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and executive leadership.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management and decision-making abilities.
