We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to coordinate and optimize production schedules for an import processing operation. This role ensures efficient flow of imported goods through receiving, processing, and distribution while maintaining inventory accuracy and meeting customer demand.

Job Details
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in production planning, ideally within seafood, food processing, or other perishable goods industries
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience
  • Strong expertise in managing perishable inventory and cold chain logistics
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Solid understanding of HACCP, FDA regulations, and food safety standards
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
