Key Responsibilities
- Lead Major Incident Management as the Incident Commander, ensuring rapid service restoration and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Facilitate incident bridges and coordinate cross-functional technical teams during incident response.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analysis meetings to identify improvements.
- Drive the adoption of AI-powered incident management capabilities to enhance efficiency.
- Promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Contribute to problem management by coordinating root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional team members in problem resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technology organization.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Incident Commander.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Understanding of application and infrastructure stacks and technologies.
- Experience with monitoring tools and incident resolution.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to maintain positive relationships with customers and team members.
Preferences
- ITIL training certification or extensive experience with Incident Management.
- Hands-on experience with Elastic, BigPanda, Grafana, and other monitoring tools.
