Senior Professional Liability Attorney (Medical Malpractice Defense) – Philadelphia, PA (hybrid)

A well-regarded Pennsylvania defense firm is adding a senior professional liability attorney in Philadelphia. The work is medical malpractice defense, tried to verdict.

What you will do:

First-chair medical malpractice defense cases from assignment through trial. Expect to be in a courtroom regularly, with a trial every month or two. Manage client and carrier relationships on your own files.

What you have:

Substantial medical malpractice defense experience and first-chair jury trial experience. Pennsylvania bar admission is required; New Jersey is a plus. At this level the firm also looks for some portable business. A plaintiff-side background is not a disqualifier.

The details:

Philadelphia, hybrid. Two to three days a week in the office is typical, with flexibility for the right person. Compensation is set to the candidate's experience.
