Job Description:You will drive the design, development, and testing of complex enterprise systems and applications using modern .NET technologies for our mortgage technology platform. In this role, you will champion our transition to AI-first engineering practices by actively integrating Agentic AI, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and approved AI tools into the software development life cycle (SDLC) to drive operational efficiencies and platform modernization.
What You'll DoAI-Native Transformation & Agentic Workflows- AI-Native Transformation & Agentic Workflows: execute AI-native transformation initiatives, MCP server capabilities, and leverage tools like BMAD and Spec Kit to build modern lender self-service capabilities.
- Platform & Cloud Engineering: Build, maintain, and take hands-on ownership of internal services, rate management engines, and GCP-based CI/CD pipelines across both UI-based and API-driven lender integrations
- Own Enablement Lifecycles: Author and maintain architectural definitions, AGENTS.md specifications, and skill architectures to ensure teams have the foundations to work effectively with AI tools.
Engineering Excellence & Technical Leadership- Accelerated Leadership: Embrace a leadership trajectory with the opportunity to become a Dev Anchor (Tech Lead) guiding, mentoring, and elevating the team's output.
- TDD & Pair Programming: Pair program using Test-Driven Development (TDD), collaborate cross-functionally with QA, product, and client stakeholders, and take end-to-end ownership of workstreams
- Technical Direction: Collaborate across full-stack boundaries to provide technical direction on ASP.NET Core Web API designs, database schemas, and microservices architecture.
- Full SDLC Ownership: Operate across the entire platform lifecycle from requirements and cloud architecture through build, test, deployment, and platform-wide production incident diagnosis.
Job Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical work experience).
- Core .NET Expertise: 5-8+ years of experience developing scalable applications using modern Object-Oriented Programming languages, with advanced proficiency in C# and .NET Core/.NET 8+.
- Full-Stack Proficiency: Seasoned experience with ASP.NET Core APIs, modern frontend frameworks (Angular preferred, React acceptable), and hands-on cloud environment execution with GCP and CI/CD pipelines.
- Data & Cloud Infrastructure: Strong SQL skills with experience handling various database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, or BigQuery) and Cloud Platforms.
- System Ownership & AI Tooling: Proven track record of platform-wide troubleshooting, system ownership, and hands-on experience using modern AI-assisted development tools, LLM APIs, and agentic workflows.
Nice-to-Haves / Preferred- Direct experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and building or integrating custom Agentic AI servers within a .NET environment.
- Direct experience in Mortgage Technology, Closing Cost/Loan Estimation systems, or Real Estate fintech platforms.
