Location: Auburn, CA

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid onsite frequently in either Auburn or Chico location

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 8 months
  • Pay Rate: $90.00 $100.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Standard 5/8 schedule (Monday Friday)
  • Travel Requirements: Travel may be required; with prior manager approval, expense reimbursements may be submitted
  • Equipment Provided: Client laptop and docking station will be provided; PPE will be provided by the client when required
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

The Senior Program Manager completes moderate to complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions, plan and goals. This role works independently on most issues and provides direction on overall program plan and goals. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for most or all deliverables within the program implementation plan, communicates findings and recommendations to various levels of management, develops budget forecasts, conducts analysis in support of identifying budget variances, and develops solutions to address them. The role also develops new and ad-hoc reports, summarizes findings and recommendations, and provides business insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completes moderate to complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions plan and goals
  • Works independently on most issues
  • Provides direction on overall program plan and goals
  • Responsible for most/all deliverables within the program implementation plan
  • Communicates findings and recommendations to various levels of management
  • Develops budget forecasts, conducts analysis in support of identifying budget variances and develops solutions to address
  • Develops new and ad-hoc reports, summarizes findings and recommendations and provides business insight

Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Program Management
  • Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with demanding time constraints
  • Knowledge and understanding of business drivers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage or direct teams
  • Ability to work within a Regulatory environment
  • Ability to assess and recommend solutions for assigned projects
  • Knowledge of energy industry applications to local level customers, including energy issues, customer energy efficiency applications, and general customer information
  • Instrumentation experience
  • Proficiency in Excel, including excel data management and ability to create graphs in Excel
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Skills

  • Technical writing skills

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Required Experience

  • 6 years of related experience or equivalent

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Role is hybrid onsite frequently required at either Auburn or Chico location
  • Local candidates only
  • Travel may be required; expense reimbursements available with prior manager approval
  • PPE will be provided by the client when required
