SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER - critical DEFENSE production

GNR has been retained by a well-established, hi-tech Defense manufacturing organization seeking a SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER.   

The company has a very strong DEFENSE portfolio, a modern state-of-the-art facility, and is committed to expanding its operational capabilities & excellence.

This role offers career growth and high visibility within the organization, reporting directly to the VP of Programs, you will manage the full life cycle of a $$$M critical Defense program.

• Must have solid business acumen to mitigate risks, manage budgets, schedules and deliverables, and handle any scope changes.
• Monitor and track day-to-day progress and communicate with customers

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

Full life cycle DEFENSE PROGRAMs background for Electronics, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical systems: any defense system or sub-systems like: avionics, ground vehicles, navigation guidance systems, PCBs, box level electronics, actuation systems, missiles, C5ISR, electronic warfare, EO/IR, etc.

• Manage program schedules and deliverables, budgets, mitigated risk, while ensuring compliance program requirements and Mil-Stds / AS9100.
• Strong business acumen and communication with customers
• PMP / PMI certification is a PLUS
• US Citizenship – prior military service is a plus.
