QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, transportation, account management, or program management.
Experience supporting large national accounts within logistics, foodservice distribution, or supply chain management preferred.
Strong leadership experience managing teams and developing talent in a collaborative environment.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience managing customer relationships and driving account growth.
Ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships across all levels of an organization.
Demonstrated success in negotiations, resource allocation, strategic planning, and performance management.
Working knowledge of foodservice supply chain functions, including purchasing, customer service, warehousing, accounting, inventory management, and transportation.
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
Limited travel required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and oversee freight management and redistribution activities, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and organizational objectives.
Review supplier freight costs in collaboration with Category Managers and develop cost-effective transportation strategies that meet business requirements.
Partner with Brand Managers to support demand planning, campaign execution, inventory management, and promotional activities, including Limited Time Offers (LTOs).
Oversee freight management programs, including:
RFP development and execution
Freight bid management
Freight re-bracketing initiatives
Expedited and hot-shot transportation solutions
Transportation cost reduction projects
Direct the execution of redistribution projects, supplier and item transitions, product additions and deletions, freight optimization efforts, and distribution center transitions.
Coordinate cross-functionally with internal departments to support supplier onboarding, item implementation, product discontinuations, and logistics network changes.
Identify and develop opportunities to expand customer engagement and create additional value-added supply chain solutions.
Prepare and deliver monthly savings reports, operational performance updates, and key account metrics.
Develop and present quarterly and semi-annual business reviews, leveraging data and KPIs to communicate performance, opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
Partner with executive leadership and the Director of Account Management & Pricing to establish strategic plans, performance goals, and growth initiatives.
Monitor customer account performance, including sales forecasts, annual operating plan (AOP) trends, P&L performance, and risk mitigation strategies.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, developing and refining SOPs to improve efficiency, service levels, and profitability.
Complete special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by executive leadership and key customer stakeholders.
