Position Overview

Tiberius is seeking a highly organized and technically fluent Senior Program Manager (Sceptre) to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex programs supporting mission-critical aerospace and defense systems. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and operations and will play a central role in ensuring Sceptre initiatives are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with strategic priorities.

The ideal candidate has deep experience managing large-scale programs, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can effectively translate technical requirements into executable plans across multiple engineering teams. This individual will work closely with engineering leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to build scalable processes and drive program execution as the company grows.

What You’ll Do

Lead planning, coordination, and execution of complex programs

Define program scope, milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules across engineering teams

Drive cross-functional alignment between engineering, product, security, and operations teams

Track program progress and communicate status, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership

Facilitate sprint planning, program increment planning, and roadmap alignment

Identify and remove execution blockers for engineering teams

Establish clear program governance, reporting structures, and escalation paths

Support delivery of mission-critical systems with high reliability and compliance standards

Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation

Technical & Growth-Oriented Responsibilities

Translate technical architecture and product requirements into executable program plans

Manage cross-team dependencies across multiple Systems and services

Support engineering teams in maintaining predictable delivery schedules

Lead program reviews and technical milestone checkpoints

Partner with engineering leadership to define development processes and best practices

Develop program roadmaps aligned with company strategic objectives

Build scalable program management processes and documentation standards

Drive program-level risk management and mitigation planning

Support resource planning and capacity forecasting across engineering teams

Provide executive-level reporting on program status and delivery performance

Partner with product and engineering leadership on long-term platform initiatives

Take on cross-functional operational projects as needed

What You’ll Bring

Experience in technical program management or engineering program leadership

Experience coordinating multiple engineering teams and managing cross-team dependencies

Hardware Engineering background

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong organizational and execution skills with attention to detail

Ability to drive clarity and structure in fast-paced environments

Comfortable working in a startup or high-growth company environment

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

High level of integrity and discretion

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

MS Project or Smart Sheets experience

Hands on Defence experience with knowledge of ITAR and DFAR

Preferred

  • Background in aerospace, defense, robotics, or mission-critical systems
  • Experience working with secure or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with program management tools (Jira, Linear, Asana, etc.)
  • Engineering background or technical degree
  • Experience scaling engineering organizations or complex programs

$175,000 - $245,000 a year
