ABOUT THE POSITION

Stratagen is seeking a Senior Program Specialist to support a federal program within the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division (contingent upon award). This is an on-site position in Clarksburg, WV.

The Senior Program Specialist will provide project coordination, operational support, and program administration to support the successful execution of contract and project objectives. Working under the direction of the Program Manager, the Senior Program Specialist will coordinate day-to-day project activities and support the implementation of program plans, schedules, deliverables, and performance objectives.

The ideal candidate will have strong project and program coordination experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across business, technical, and leadership teams. The position requires the ability to manage competing priorities, monitor project performance, identify and mitigate risks, and develop clear executive-level communications and briefings.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee project activities to support program objectives, deliverables, schedules, and performance outcomes.
• Coordinate day-to-day project activities and support implementation of program plans and schedules.
• Work with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to define project scope and establish milestones.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and track deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate resources to support timely and effective project execution.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Coordinate meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder engagements.
• Document meeting decisions, action items, assignments, and commitments and ensure appropriate follow-through.
• Prepare and communicate project status updates, performance reports, risks, issues, and recommendations.
• Develop executive briefings, presentations, and other communications that clearly convey project progress, accomplishments, challenges, risks, and recommended courses of action.
• Foster collaboration across business and technical teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve project management effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Monitor project activities for compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and organizational standards.
• Support stakeholder relationships and facilitate effective communication across project teams.
• Analyze project information and performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support leadership with project planning, decision-making, and program administration activities.
• Apply SAFe Agile methodology within project and program management environments.
• Perform other project coordination and program support activities as required to meet program objectives.

• Improving project management effectiveness and operational efficiency

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to identify and resolve project issues
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
• PMP certification is highly desirable

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

An active Top Secret clearance is required for this position. Candidates who do not possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance will not be considered.
