• PLEASE READ FULL JOB DESCRIPTION LINKED IN THIS POST * LOCATION Campus Kilpatrick (4247 Encinal Canyon Road, Malibu, CA 90265) POSITION IS ON-SITE With supervision and support from the Coordinator III, Climate, Culture and Behavior Supports this Senior Program Specialist is a critical site-level position designed to facilitate and improve the behavioral and emotional well-being of students in juvenile court and county community schools . Funded by the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act (JJCPA), this role serves as a critical partner with site leadership, teams, and all staff to facilitate the design, implementation, and oversight of a positive school climate framework in Juvenile Court Schools. This position focuses on the unique needs of justice-involved youth, supporting assigned school(s) with implementing positive and preventative approaches, youth development, healing, and restorative practices over punishment and exclusionary approaches. This position supports school site leadership to reduce school-wide suspensions, improve attendance and engagement, and foster a safe environment through effective student-focused and data-informed systems leveraging a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). Requirements / Qualifications

Position Requirements • Education: Master s degree in Educational Leadership, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Education or related field. • Experience: Minimum of three years or more in social work, school counseling, psychology, or classroom teaching experience at the secondary level with preferred experience in juvenile court settings working with at-promise youth. • Certification: Must hold or be eligible for and committed to receiving and delivering training on Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) to provide ongoing staff development. • Possess and maintain a valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential (with Child Welfare and Attendance authorization preferred). • Please provide a copy of each credential document as it appears on the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing website with the document number on it.
