We're seeking a driven Senior Project Accountant to lead financial performance on major builds and strengthen financial discipline across our active portfolio. Your analysis and decisions will influence outcomes in the field and at the leadership level.What You'll OwnLead full‑cycle accounting for active construction projects, owning everything from budget setup to closeoutTrack job costs and field activity in real time, surfacing insights that help project teams stay ahead of risks and overrunsMaintain tight cost controls by monitoring commitments, change orders, and forecast updatesInterpret key commercial terms in project contracts and ensure financial expectations are clear across the teamDeliver crisp, timely reporting that gives leadership a true picture of project healthEnsure accurate coding and documentation for labor, subcontractors, equipment, and third‑party costsManage progress billings and project‑related invoicing as part of the broader accounting cycleReconcile job costs and support compliance requirements to keep financials clean, accurate, and audit‑readyWhat We'd LikeBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferredDemonstrated experience in project accounting within the construction spaceStrong understanding of construction accounting fundamentals, including job cost management, over/under billings, cash flow forecasting, and revenue recognitionProficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency with ERP systems, with the ability to leverage technology and job cost data for smarter financial managementWhy This RoleJoin an employee‑owned firm where your decisions drive real value including your own.
