Description
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $125,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage project budgets and cost tracking within the ERP system
- Perform PoC accounting and WIP analysis to support revenue recognition
- Oversee subcontractor payments and lien release documentation
- Handle accounts receivable, billing, and collections
- Generate financial reports including cost-to-complete, margin variance, and trend analysis
- Collaborate across departments to resolve financial variances and improve processes
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial documentation
- Perform additional duties as needed to support financial operations
- Support month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
- Assist with project closeouts and final cost validation
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in construction or project accounting
- Show strong background in PoC accounting and WIP reporting
- Support month-end close and general ledger activities effectively
- Demonstrate advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (IFS preferred)
