  • Coordinate with lenders, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Oversee project-related accounts payable to ensure costs are accurately coded, allocated, approved, and charged to the correct project or entity.
  • Support project banking, cash management, funding transfers, disbursements, and treasury activities.
  • Assist with project audits, tax reporting, and lender compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accounting records for resort, hospitality, retail, and amenity operations.
  • Record and reconcile revenue, expenses, and operational transactions.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany activity.
  • Support tenant billing, lease accounting, commercial occupancy reporting, forecasting, and budget preparation.
  • Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, year-end close, external audits, lender reporting, and accounting process improvements.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong construction, development, or project accounting background.
  • Someone who is accurate, curious, proactive, and comfortable working in a role that will continue to grow and change.
  • A professional who can manage detailed accounting work while also seeing the bigger business picture.
  • Someone who communicates well with accounting leadership, lenders, contractors, consultants, operational leaders, and ownership groups.
  • A problem-solver who can identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and recommend solutions.
  • A self-starter who can work independently while still collaborating across departments.
  • Someone who is comfortable with shifting priorities as projects progress.
  • A business-minded accountant who wants to understand how financial decisions impact operational performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience with construction, development, or project accounting.
  • Experience administering lender draw requests and construction financing.
  • Experience preparing project cost reports and budget-to-actual analyses.
  • Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements.
  • Experience with account reconciliations, month-end close, and general ledger accounting.
