Privately held construction industry client has a new permanent opportunity for a Senior Project Accountant. Company works throughout the US, and is recognized as an industry leader in their sector. The Senior Project Accountant is a new position due to growth that will work with leadership, Project Managers, various teams and help mentor and oversee Project Accountants. Approximate Base Salary of $95,000 - $125,000 + Bonus

Responsibilities of the Senior Project Accountant:
- Responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for assigned construction projects
- Analyze WIP, business plans, budgets, forecasts, and variances
- Conduct productivity and profitability analysis for assigned projects to leadership
- Analyze and advise on financial/profitability impacts related to labor, materials, equipment, assets
- Work with internal/external customers managing financial and billing processes according to contract terms
- Present financial information to Finance, Project Management and Operations leadership
- Manage lien waivers and payment process
- Monitor pay estimates, cash forecast for AR, supplier payments and contract values
- Assist with staff oversight
Ideal Experience for the Senior Project Accountant Role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related
- 4+ years of Accounting experience
- Accounting experience in construction, engineering, architecture, project manufacturing, or related
- Experience providing insights on accounting/finance matters to individuals throughout an organization
- Strong project/time management skills
- Advanced Excel skills, working with large data sets
