Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst to support project scheduling, cost control, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis for electric utility projects. The ideal candidate will have strong Primavera P6 scheduling experience and a solid understanding of project controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and other project management tools.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, milestones, risks, and schedule performance.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project status, cost, schedule, and performance reports.
- Analyze cost and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Support Project Managers with forecasting, budgeting, estimates, change orders, and project closeout.
- Maintain project documentation, records, and tracking logs.
- Validate project data and perform cost and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, engineering, finance, and other stakeholders.
- Support process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc reporting requests.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 8+ years of related experience for external candidates.
- CAPM or PMP certification.
- Strong Primavera P6 scheduling experience.
- Experience in project controls, project management, construction management, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP, SAP/BW, EPM, Access, Unifier, ProjectWise, or HeavyBid.
- Knowledge of risk management and earned value analysis.
- Utility, electric transmission/distribution, or construction project experience.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $80.00 per hour.
