Job Details

This is a unique role for someone who's ready to take a big step forward in their career. This role has visibility at all levels and is critical to the success of our largest projects. We would love to hear from you if you feel your experience could add value to our growing team!

What You'll Do:
Lead & Collaborate
  • You'll be the connective tissue between the customer and the project team, ensuring communication flows smoothly across every phase of planning and construction controls. You'll guide the controls team, clearly defining roles and accountability so everyone knows what success looks like.

Own the Schedule
  • Using Primavera P6 and critical path methodology, you'll build and maintain the schedules that keep projects moving.

This includes:
  • Partnering with project management to translate scope, budget, and timeline into a solid baseline schedule
  • Developing resource loaded construction schedules that reflect real world sequencing and constraints
  • Keeping both internal and external tracking current with minimal disruption to daily operations
  • Applying familiarity with the Defense Contract Management Agency's 14 point schedule quality standards

Track Performance & Drive Accountability
  • You'll monitor cost and schedule performance monthly, dig into variances, and recommend corrective action when things drift off plan. You'll also oversee all customer reporting and audit deliverables, making sure documentation is accurate, timely, and audit ready.

What You'll Bring
  • Five to seven years of utility electrical scheduling experience using Primavera P6
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at every level
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously across a large portfolio
  • Solid grasp of financial and productivity concepts, including KPIs, Earned Value, and cost tracking methods
  • A natural ability to delegate, with a clear sense of how to define and assign accountability
  • A track record of success managing project controls on complex, high stakes projects
  • Comfort collaborating across Operations and Finance to align project and financial goals
  • A BS/BA in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Access, and Project
