Job Summary:
NAES is seeking a Senior Project Controls Scheduler to support a large-scale industrial construction project in Delta, UT. This position will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules while supporting project controls activities related to forecasting, cost tracking, progress reporting, and schedule performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive Primavera P6 experience, strong construction scheduling knowledge, and the ability to work closely with construction management, contractors, and project stakeholders to support successful project execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and update detailed Primavera P6 project schedules for active construction projects
Monitor project progress, milestones, and schedule performance against baseline schedules
Analyze schedule impacts, delays, and critical path activities and provide recovery recommendations
Coordinate with construction management, contractors, and project teams to ensure schedule alignment with field execution activities
Support project controls functions including forecasting, cost tracking, productivity analysis, and progress reporting
Assist with schedule-related reporting, earned value tracking, and project status updates for leadership teams
Participate in planning meetings, construction coordination meetings, and project reviews
Identify schedule risks and support mitigation planning to maintain project objectives and milestones
Job Requirements:
Expert-level Primavera P6 scheduling experience required
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field execution activities
Experience supporting large industrial, utility, power generation, transmission, or infrastructure projects preferred
Ability to interpret construction drawings, schedules, and project execution plans
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in an onsite construction environment with multiple stakeholders and contractors
Education / Experience:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred
20+ years of scheduling/project controls experience in construction or industrial project environments
Experience supporting EPC or owner-side construction projects preferred
Prior experience supporting large-scale utility, power generation, transmission, or infrastructure projects strongly preferred
