The Opportunity
You’ll be a Senior Project Coordinator supporting the Product Development team, responsible for independently driving end-to-end coordination of product development projects — from initial brief through to commercial launch.
What you'll be doing
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Project Coordination
- Own end-to-end coordination of product development projects, including new flavors, reformulations, and line extensions.
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestone trackers across the portfolio.
- Track cross-functional dependencies, risks, and action items — and make sure they're moving.
- Coordinate pilot trials, plant scale-up activities, and commercialization readiness milestones.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, capture notes and actions, and distribute clear updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation including specifications, sample tracking, and stage-gate records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the central point of coordination across Product Development, Application Science, QC/QA, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams.
- Drive follow-up and accountability across functions — ensuring timely responses and consistent progress.
- Provide regular status updates to the Head of Product Development, including risks, constraints, and timeline impacts — with recommended solutions and trade-offs, not just flags.
Process Development
- Establish and embed standardized project management practices for the PD team.
- Create and maintain templates, tracking tools, and stage-gate workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce rework across the product development process.
Experience & Background
- 5+ years in project coordination or project management, ideally within R&D, product development, or innovation environments.
- Proven ability to run multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.
- Experience coordinating across technical and commercial functions in a regulated manufacturing environment (food, beverage, ingredients, pharma, or similar).
- Track record of driving accountability and follow-through across teams you don’t directly manage.
- Comfortable building tools, trackers, and processes from scratch, with strong written and verbal communication across all levels.
